Clearing Browsing Data

Sometimes your browser will store old copies of files that have since been updated. These instructions will guide you on how to clear older stored files from your browser so it will update to the latest version of the files.

Please ensure your data from all open Nookal tabs and windows has been saved before continuing, as you will be logged out after completing these actions.

Chrome

  1. Click the Menu (3 vertical dots) in the top-right corner of the browser window.
  2. Hover over the More Tools option in the menu.
  3. Click on Clear Browsing Data.
  4. Set the Time Range to All Time.
  5. Tick the Cached Images and Files checkbox.
  6. Tick the Cookies and Other Site Data checkbox.
  7. Click the Clear Data button.
  8. Close the Settings tab.
  9. Quit Chrome and reopen.

Firefox

  1. Click the Menu (3 horizontal lines) button in the top right-hand corner.
  2. Click Preferences.
  3. Click Privacy & Security.
  4. In the Cookies and Site Data section, click the Clear Data button.
  5. Tick the boxes for Cookies and Site Data and Cached Web Content
  6. Click Clear. 
  7. Close the Preferences tab.
  8.  Quit Firefox and reopen.

Safari

  1. Click Safari in the top left-hand corner.
  2. Select the Clear History item.
  3. Set the Clear option to All history.
  4. Click the Clear History button.
  5. Quit Safari and reopen.
