To make printed Invoices cleaner, or if you are using pre-printed letterheads, we recommend that you adjust your browser’s print and margin settings.

These steps below will show you how to remove the page numbers, names and URLs from all documents printed from your browser.

Chrome

  1. Click the Menu (3 vertical dots) button in the top-right corner.
  2. Click the Print item.
  3. Locate the Margins section.
    1. Change the Margins drop-down to: Custom
    2. Rollover the page preview and drag-and-drop the margins to your requirements.
  4. Locate the Options section.
    1. Untick the Headers and footers checkbox.
  5. Click the Cancel button to close the Print window.

Firefox

  1. Click the Menu (3 horizontal lines) button in the top-right corner.
  2. Rollover the Print item to open the print preview.
  3. Click the Page Setup item in the top toolbar.
  4. Open the Margins & Header/Footer tab.
  5. Set the TopLeftRight and Bottom Margins to your requirements.
  6. Set all 6 of the Headers & Footers drop-downs as: –blank–
  7. Click the OK button to close the Page Setup window.

Safari

Please note: Safari’s margins can be very limited by your system and printer preferences. If you require a more specific management of page margins, we recommend using Google Chrome.

  1. Open the File menu in the top-left corner.
  2. Click the Print item.
  3. Locate the Show Details or Hide Details button.
  4. Click the button (if necessary) so it is set as: Hide Details
  5. Untick the Print headers and footers checkbox.
  6. Open the Paper Size drop-down.
  7. Select the Manage Custom Sizes… item.
    • If this item is unavailable, your Printer may not support custom paper sizes and margins within Safari. Please consult the notes regarding Google Chrome above.
  8. Click the + button in the Custom Page Sizes window.
  9. Click the newly added Untitled field and rename it: Custom Margins
  10. Set the Printer Margins drop-down as: User defined
  11. Set the Top, Left, Right and Bottom Margins to your requirements.
  12. Click the OK button to close the Custom Page Sizes window.
  13. Click the Cancel button to close the Print window.
  14. When printing, ensure the Paper Size drop-down is set as: Custom Margins
