Required Client Details for Medicare Claims

If using any of the methods integrated with Nookal to submit Medicare Claims, here’s what needs to be added in the Client’s Profile claim successfully.

Find and open the Client Profile. Click here for help.

Profile Section

1. If not already in the Profile, add this information:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • DOB
  • Gender

2. Click Save Changes

Health Section

1. Click on the Health tab and add:

  • Medicare Card number
  • IRN
  • Expiry Date

2. Click Save Changes

Once the changes are saved, the Medicare Card should show as Verified. If not, some details might be inaccurate.

3. Add a Claimant (or guardian) – if applicable.

For a Claimant to be added in a Client Profile, the Claimant/guardian needs their own Client Profile in Nookal with a Verified Medicare Card.

4. Once completed, click Save Changes.

Once the Client Profile has been set, a Medicare Case will need to be created.
