The following instructions are for the New Online Bookings system.

Nookal’s Online Bookings can be accessed using various platforms, depending on the business model of your practice. This article explains each of the available options and provides instructions on generating a link to access Online Bookings.

To avoid any Online Booking issues, make sure Staff members, Services,

Classes and Locations are enabled and configured before making the Online Booking system accessible to Clients.

1

Go to Setup.

2

Click Online Bookings – New under Extensions.

3

The Generate a Link section should be visible at the top of the page.

4

Pick a Starting Point for the Client’s Online Booking process, either ask the Client to pick a Location, pick a Practitioner or Don’t Specify.

5

Choose one Location or have All Locations visible on the Online Bookings page.

If Ask the Client to pick a Practitioner was specified in Step 4, the Choose Location option will be removed and the Client will be able to select from all of the Practitioner’s available locations when making an Online Booking.

If you have one Location, pick the Location as the start of the process to avoid confusion.

If you have multiple Locations, you can choose to have a different link for each location available, or have a single link so clients choose their location at the start of the Online Booking process.

6

Choose the Link Type. Note that the Link selection should be determined by the platform in which Clients will be accessing the Online Bookings system. There is more information on each Link Type below.

7

Click Generate.

8

Copy the Code generated using the Copy icon in the top-right.

9

Paste the Code where appropriate based on the type of link. See below for specifications on each type of link.

If you’re unsure which link to use or where it should go, get in touch with your Website Developer or IT Consultant for further assistance.
