Once Nookal is linked to Zoom, it is quick and easy to launch telehealth consultations from the Diary for Consultations and Classes.

For the Video Consultation to be displayed, the Zoom integration needs to be enabled and the Provider must have an email address in the configuration page.

Launching Video Consultation from an Appointment in the Diary

In the Diary, click on the Booking.

In Classic view, click on Communications at the top, then click Video Consultation.

In Fresh view, click on Communications at the bottom.

Then select Video Consultation and click on Next.

Click Send next to Email or SMS video link to send the link to the Client to join the video consultation.

If the Provider has multiple Telehealth integrations enabled, select Zoom in the list of available integrations before sending the link.

A confirmation the link has been sent will be displayed for a few seconds.

The email will look like this:

Zoom links expire an hour after sent.

When ready to start the consultation, click Start.

A new window will open directly in Zoom to start the meeting dashboard if already logged in.

The Zoom application will open with a pop-up window from which to click Join with Computer Audio.

Depending on the security settings of the browser, it is possible that a pop-up from the browser requires to confirm to Open Zoom Meeting.

Once the Client has clicked on the link they will be prompted to enter their name and click Join Meeting, then select Join with Computer Audio.

If the Client is using Zoom for the first time they will need to download Zoom. If they have any issues, more help can be found here: support.zoom.us

In the Zoom Meeting, Clients who join will be added in the Waiting Room and the Client’s Name displayed over Manage Participants. Click Admit for them to join the call.

Back on the Nookal window, you will be automatically redirected to the Client’s Clinical Notes, ready to write them during the session.

When the consultation is over, click End Meeting at the bottom right-hand-side corner.

Click End Meeting for All and Save the Clinical Notes.

Repeat for the next video consultation.

Launching Zoom Video Consultation for a Class

In the Diary, click on the Class.

Select all the Clients to attend the video consultation.

Click Video Consultation on the right-hand side menu.

Click Send next to Email or SMS video link to send the link to the Client to join the video consultation.

The link can be sent multiple times.
A camera icon will be displayed next to the Clients the link was sent to so if additional Clients are booked in last minute, the link can be sent to them only.

When ready to start the consultation, click Start.

The Zoom application will open with a pop-up window from which to click Join with Computer Audio.

When the consultation is over, click End Meeting at the bottom right-hand-side corner.

Click End Meeting for All and write Clinical Notes as relevant.

Repeat for the next video consultation.
