Each Provider Number can only be added to a single Medicare Claiming Group (Minor/Location ID) at any given time.

If you need to link a Provider Number to a different Minor ID, simply deactivate that Provider Number in the current Claiming Group and activate it in the desired Claiming Group.

Before the change can be processed, all previous claims for the Provider Number associated with the current Minor ID need to be completed or cancelled.

If you encounter an error while actioning this process, contact our support team with the following details:

  • Provider name and Provider Number.
  • Current Claiming Group (Name and Minor ID) it needs to be removed from.
  • Claiming Group (Name and Minor ID) that the Provider Number needs to be added to.
