Using Google Analytics with Online Bookings (Legacy)

The following instructions are for the Legacy Online Bookings system.

You can add a Google Analytics Tracking Key in the Online Bookings setup page to track how clients reached the online booking platform.

Follow the steps below to set this up.


Head to Setup > Extensions > Online Bookings.


Click on a Location.


Paste the Tracking Key in the Analytics field.


Click Save Changes.


Repeat for each Location enabled for Online Bookings you want to track.

Once this is set up, it will track each step of the online bookings process. This will appear as a pageview in Analytics.

The bookings/appointments URLs don’t always follow a single path because the pages are shown in an order based on the options set in your Nookal account (e.g. Blocking Registrations). We recommend noting down the URLs clients that patients go through during their patient journey once you have your options set.
