Thank you for making the time to check your migrated data – reviewing your data is critical to a successful migration process.
Please ensure you complete this step immediately following every Trial or Final Conversion on your Nookal account.

Before you go any further, make sure that your Nookal account has not been used operationally by your team.
If it has been used – please ask them to stop immediately and wait for you to confirm that you’ve completed this process and your migrated data is totally correct.
🪖 Slow is Smooth, and Smooth is Fast
Ok, I know you’re excited to get your Nookal account up and running quickly, so I’ll do my best to keep this quick and easy.
- Firstly, you’ll need to know what data types were migrated?
You’ll only need to check the migrated data types. - Secondly, I’m going to ask you to check 10x random entries for each data type.
Ten is the minimum sample size to identify any issues with the migration process.
Alrighty, let’s go… (skip any data types that weren’t migrated)
🧑🦲 Clients, Contacts, and Staff
All 3 types share similarities, so with 10x Clients, Contacts, and your Staff, check:
- Do they all have the correct Title, First, and Last Name?
- Are their Contact Numbers (Phone, Mobile, etc.) formatted correctly?
- Is their Address, State, Country, and Postcode correct?
- Do the Clients have their Date of Birth correct and formatted properly?
📍 Locations
Locations are a little easier to check:
- Does the total number of Locations match your previous system?
- Are all Locations labelled correctly?
🕑 Appointments
Select 10x Appointments (Services and Classes) from your Diary at random:
- Are they scheduled and with the correct Client and Staff member?
- Are they scheduled at the correct time and date?
- If Services/Classes lists where migrated:
Are they associated to the correct Service or Class type?
🩺 Clinical Notes
Select 10x Clients at random:
- Are their Clinical Notes in chronological order?
- Are their Clinical Notes formatted correctly?
💼 Services, Classes, and Inventory
All 3 types share similarities, so with 10x Services, Classes, and Inventory, check:
- Is the Title, Price, and Tax of the item correct?
- Is the Duration of the Services and Classes correct?
💰 Client Invoices
If Client Invoices were migrated:
- Are they associated to the correct Client with the correct balance?
